Overall feedback on the evaluation
Overall, the application addresses the EUCF criteria in an adequate manner. The aim of
the proposed investment concept is geothermal energy utilisation for sustainable public
building operations in the municipality. The application performs well in regard to the
proposed governance structure and stakeholder engagement strategy, with potential for
improvement in addressing further relevant aspects in the descriptions. The proposed
investment project is less ambitious in relation to the other applications submitted in the
regional call. The two mandatory supporting documents for the EUCF application were
successfully submitted. More detailed feedback per evaluation criterion and on the

but these do not correspond to the majority of the foreseen impacts. The
project demonstrates potential to be replicated and/or up-scaled in the
region and/or in different contexts. The replication/up-scaling potential
is very well addressed by the applicant.

more detailed information about the proposed investment project.This
project aims at replacing fossil fuel-based systems with geothermal

clear how the expected impacts in energy savings will be achieved. The
impacts in energy savings and renewable energy production seem to
have been double counted in the application.
